Planning to holiday in West Malaysia? Good idea! Head for Cameron Highlands. Now here comes the berry on the icing. Surprise yourself with garden fresh bright red strawberries at the Strawberry farm. Also go to the honey bee Farm and butterfly centres and marvel at an assortment of exotic butterfly species.

Love outdoor activities? Rest assured, there’s never a dull moment in Cameron Highlands. Go jungle trekking at Tanah Rata, or hiking to see a panorama of magnificent views from the top, or camping among the lesser known mountains.

Time for some lip smacking cuisine? Western, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, choose your pick. Some of the must try specialities here are the Steamboat Dinner -where a variety of meats, seafood and vegetables are cooked in a simmering pot of broth at the table, Tea & Scones - served in typical British style, and a whole selection of Strawberry desserts. Good restaurants can be found in Tanah Rata, Brinchang, Tringkap and Kampung Raja. Also taste Nyonya food, Assam fish and homemade chilli sauce. You’ll love every bit of it.
