Put your best foot forward for the Malaysian International Shoe Festival

If you have a passion shoes, then you can’t afford to miss, South  East Asia’s biggest shoe event, the 4th Malaysia International Shoe Festival (MISF 2013) scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, over four days from the 28th to the 31st of March.
This four-day shoe extravaganza aims to position fashion-forward Malaysia as ‘the shoe capital of the east’. Malaysia is known throughout the world for its well-made, fashionable and stylish shoes; in fact the country has a shoemaking heritage that dates back more than 100 years.  The Malaysian shoe industry today, not only produces shoes for the local and export markets, but it also markets its own well-known brands in the global arena.
Towering stilettos, cushiony flats, sensible yet stylish pumps, trail-blazing sneakers, rugged boots, and the festival cum exhibition will feature all these and more.  The festival arena will play host to 200 booths which will offer the wares of more than 50 local and international brands for sale.  So if you are itching to buy a pair of new shoes, we suggest you hold off until the festival for you will be able to purchase the 2013 creations of most well-known international and local brands for substantial discount at the event.  A proposition, bound to bring much joy to shoe-lovers everywhere.
Apart from shoe sales, the festival will also feature several entertaining and informative programs like a footwear fashion show featuring international models, a miniature shoe showcase by creative young designers, and seminars featuring insights from experts on foot health and care. Visitors will also be able to view the exquisite Professor Dato’ (Dr) Jimmy Choo Collection while perusing other stalls like the Young Designers Creative Corner and the Health and Wellness Show corner.
