The MIGF gourmet tours

The annual Malaysia International Gourmet Festival is an immensely popular gastronomic extravaganza which has been wowing foodies since its inception in 2001. The team behind the festival now seeks to popularize Malaysia as a ‘good-food’ destination. For this endeavor it has now put together a program of gourmet food tours, to not only showcase Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage but to also display the diversity of dining options available in Malaysia. Local foods, hawker fare, fine dining, European cuisines, International eats, Malaysia’s numerous restaurants offer them all and more. Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia has been chosen as the destination city for the MIGF Gourmet Tours Malaysia package.
The MIGF Gourmet Tours Malaysia package includes the following:
The tour is offered as a four night package, during which you are put up at a five/four star hotel of your choice. The organizers have tied up with a variety of hotels around Kuala Lumpur and you can choose any one based on your preferences.
The package price includes airport transfers via limousine to and from your hotel
The package also features four exciting gourmet meals at festival restaurants (at restaurants that habitually take part in the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival) of your choice.
Limousine transfers to and from the restaurants will also be provided.
A highlight of the package is a festival cooking class which will be held at a Malaysian home located in one of the chic suburbs of Kuala Lumpur. The class will feature hands-on interactive action as well as a demonstration, and will be conducted by a well-traveled Malaysian chef in English.
Sight-seeing is also included in the gourmet food tour and you will get to enjoy a three-hour city tour of Kuala Lumpur with an English-speaking chauffer cum guide.
